This week, I would like to highlight the work of four choristers in the Children’s Choir :

Cette semaine, j’aimerais particulièrement souligner le travail de quatre choristes du choeur d’enfants :

  • Simon and David,
      • Who had such a great joy in singing : is was contagious !
  • The two Zoe (Zoë and Zoé!),
    • Zoë who was the first to arrive (early = great!=) / Zoë qui est arrivée la première !
    • Zoé who had been really concentrated during the whole rehearsal / Zoé qui est restée très concentrée et qui s’est investie tout au long de la répétition !

Bravo à vous!

This week, I would like to highlight the work of three choristers in the Youth Choir :

Cette semaine, j’aimerais particulièrement souligner le travail de trois choristes du choeur des Jeunes :

  • Jasmine and Shinji,
    • who worked hard to be great leaders in the alto section and had made very good efforts to sing louder !
  • Emma Doyle
    • who did such a great job in being very concentrate!

For next Rehearsal (November 2nd)

Dear all,

Welcome again on the Choir Beat ! 😉

We had a wonderful rehearsal last Monday and first of all, I would like to thank everybody! It’s a real pleasure to work with all of you !

For next week, I asked the Youth Choir to learn by heart these pieces :

  • Sunny Bank
  • Il est né
  • Bora Maisha (first 4 numbers)
  • Mister Grinch

You already know some by heart or close, so it can appear it’s a lot, but I know that you can do it without any problem 😉

The concert will arrive very quickly : next Monday is already November ! To have a very great time together on the 29th, and to help you to be proud of your work that day, I really need you to look at these scores and learn it by heart for next week.

Each week, I’ll give you a little bit of music to learn, so you will be able to know everything at the end. I believe it’s a better way to help you than just to ask you the week before to learn everything and have memorized it !

So, have a wonderful week, full of music, and see you next Monday !

Virginie.
